Deliver in Style! CLOSED

After my delivery with Olivia, I knew I didn't want photos in those ugly, dingy hospital gowns. Once we got pregnant again, I was on the hunt for something cute but not too revealing to wear when it's go-time. So, when I found Mommy Moxie and started talking to Nicole, I knew I found the perfect option! Different fabric options, complete coverage (no bits hanging out here), and the gown I have will even be named after Deanna! Here's a little bit of her story..
Mommy Moxie was born when I was laid off from an executive position in corporate America and my husband and I opted for me to stay home with our infant son. I had been sewing as a hobby, and had made my hospital maternity gown for my delivery; my OB and the nurses in the Labor & Delivery unit gushed over my gown, so I started fine tuning the design. The gowns you see are the result of two years of research and development involving doctors, nurses, and of course, expectant moms who delivered in our gown.

After deciding on what fabric and lining I wanted, and Nicole searching high and low for just the right thing, I was in love! Not only is it exactly what I imagined, but I know that I'm the only mama who has this gown.. very cool. :) And the part of it being named after my sweet girl makes it that much better!

The fabric is super soft and comfy, and the snaps are pretty durable for the opening and closing that will happen in the hospital. I also like that I can wear the sash to accent my bump, or without it, if I decide not to. It's a great length if I walk the halls while laboring, and I don't have to worry about my rear end flashing the world. Overall, this is a wonderfully made gown, in just the right color and fit, and I'm so happy to have had a chance to work with Nicole and Mommy Moxie!

Nicole makes more than just the gowns though! Her shop includes receiving blankets (that match the gowns), labor pain pillows (also known as hot/cold therapy wraps), other blankets (flannel, minky, satin, fleece and/or cotton), bibs, burp cloths, bum wipes, diaper/wipes clutches, and more. Everything can be personalized, and she loves custom requests (just exactly what mine was).

Not only did I get my own gown to deliver Deanna in (5 weeks and counting!), but you can win one too! Good luck. :)
